excuses, excuses:(

In the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful

"Excuses are for the incompetent;" a phrase I heard yesterday. There is no good to come of excuses. Do you think that Allah would listen to our excuses in the Hereafter? I don't think so. The words from our lips won't do us good; it will be the speech from our body parts that will determine our deeds, or otherwise.

Instead of giving excuses, why not critique ourselves.

In other words, muhasabah. Critical thinking. Spending 5 minutes to reflect on our daily actions would certainly benefit us, believe it or not:D
